Paraffined paper is used for packaging metal products requiring protection against moisture and chemical influences. It is impregnated (impregnated) with paraffin on both sides, which sufficiently protects the transported goods against corrosion, damage to preservative coatings and against the penetration of dust and dirt during transport and storage. However, the paper itself does not serve as direct corrosion protection.
