Foam and foam film made of lightweight polyethene (PE), called Mirelon is a highly functional protective and insulating material. LDPE material is used widely to ensure that products are not damaged during the transport of fragile and easily breakable goods. It is used to protect glass, ceramics and various surface-treated materials. The floor foam used for laying a laminate flooring dampens noise and compensates for unevenness in the base.
Foam films are packaged practically in the form of a roll adapted and manufactured to maximize handling possibilities during packaging. The film is made of lightweight PE polyethene. Mirelon, otherwise called and used as a floor mat, provides versatile use in protecting fragile goods from breakage and damage and for insulation.
