Binding(polyester) PET tape is used for strapping heavier objects, where PP tape is no longer strong enough. PET tape is also used as a replacement for steel tape. The advantage is a lower price compared to steel tape – with savings of up to 50 %. PET tapes do not rust; they have a modulus of elasticity, which allows them to handle dynamic movements better during the transport of goods. The tape can be tightened repeatedly after strapping, which is especially important for goods where the volume of goods changes (wood, bulk materials, etc.). It is most often used in the woodworking, construction, metallurgical industries and many other industries.
